Robbie Gold at Joe's on Weed Street, 940 W. Weed St., 7 p.m.

Head to the rooftop at Joe's to hear the music of Highland Park's own Robbie Gold, whose passion is inspired by musicals and Disney Films. He began playing shows around the area after graduating from Indiana University in 2008 and formed the Robbie Gold formed in 2012. In 2013, he became the official pregame entertainment for the Chicago Cubs.

Brothers Rage at the Tonic Room, 2447 N. Halsted Ave., 8:30 p.m.

Harmonica Dunn presents Brothers Rage, The Family Business and Mos Scocious at the Tonic Room. Tickets for the 21-and-over show are $7 and doors open at 8 p.m.

Plaid at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 9 p.m.

After working together for nearly a quarter of a century, Andy Turner and Ed Hardley of Plaid are releasing their 10th album. They'll perform Thursday along with Mend at Lincoln Hall. General admission tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door for the 21-and-over show.
