CANARYVILLE — Elvis Presley is on record saying he's not a big fan of baseball: "I like football and boxing," the singer once said.

But the man who's organized the Canaryville Little League is a fan of the King of Rock and Roll, so for the fifth consecutive year John Kozlar is hosting "Elvis Night" at the ballfield he's helped rebuild in spectacular fashion.

A concert featuring an Elvis impersonator kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the ballpark at the corner of 45th Place and Normal Avenue. It's BYOB and the concession stands will be serving up pizza and hot dogs and snacks.

Guests are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket and kick back for a night of family and fun.

The impersonator is "really interactive with the crowd and the kids follow him around, like a duck leading around ducklings," Kozlar said. "It's really something to enjoy with family and friends."
