CHICAGO — A 21-year-old man was shot in a drive-by in Hermosa Tuesday night.
Around 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, the man was shot by someone in a red van while standing in the 2000 block of North Karlov Avenue in Hermosa, Alfaro said.
The man was shot in his right thigh and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition. The man is a "self-admitted gang member," Alfaro said.
Detectives are investigating the shooting.
