HUMBOLDT PARK — Solemn Oath and Penrose Brewing Co. will debut "The Neighborhood Party," a new quarterly event launching Thursday on the border of Logan Square and Humboldt Park.

Owners at the two breweries said they'll regularly pair up for the The Neighborhood Party, this week centered in Logan Square — the first stop will start Thursday near the neighborhood's border at Table, Donkey and Stick, 2728 W. Armitage Ave., before continuing on a roughly scheduled party tour.

Table, Donkey and Stick will host a collaboration dinner with the two breweries as the first stop on the "Armitage Takeover" from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at a cost of $50 per person.

The three-course meal will be served family style and include executive chef Scott Manley's signature charcuterie. Diners will receive beer pairings with each dish, along with a welcome beer upon arrival. The teams from Penrose and Solemn Oath will also be in attendance to talk beer with guests.

Following The Neighborhood Party's inaugural visit the tour will continue to Parson's Chicken and Fish, Scofflaw, Go Tavern and, finally, Marble "if you're still standin'."

One of Chicago’s obvious strengths is its neighborhood diversity and this night is set to highlight exactly that, according to an event announcement from Solemn Oath Brewery.

"We were inspired to do it like this because this is actually how we like to hang out — hitting our favorite places for a beer or two, or a quick bite, and then on to the next spot. And while there is nothing wrong with the traditional all-night hang for an event, we wanted to stitch together an evening for you that you may not typically plan yourself."

Full Schedule (all times are on an "-ish" basis, according to event organizers):

7:30 p.m.
Parson’s Chicken & Fish
2952 W. Armitage Ave.

"Between now and [Thursday] we are asking all of you to hope, pray, beg, implore, ask, petition, or beseech to whatever force you believe is behind this whole life thing about not having rain on this Thursday night. This will give us all the opportunity to kick back with some fresh beats on some crushed gravel and enjoy some beers, or possibly even one of their famed Negroni Slushies."

Beers:
Solemn Oath Brewery: TBD
Penrose: Desirous

9 p.m.
Scofflaw
3201 W. Armitage Ave.

"A bar focusing on gin-infused cocktails and craft beer just makes sense."

Beers:
Solemn Oath Brewery: Hexafoos
Penrose: Devoir

10:30 p.m.
Go Tavern and Liquors
3219 W. Armitage Ave.

"This neighborhood bar fittingly closes out the prepared portion of the first-ever Neighborhood Party with Solemn Oath Brewery and Penrose. This liquor store hybrid has a vibe that is impossible to fake. Authenticity is the key with this spot."

Beers:
Solemn Oath Brewery: Butterfly Flashmob
Penrose: P-2

"For those still standing" the tour will then likely head to nearby Marble, 3281 W. Armitage Ave. Reservations for Table, Donkey and Stick can be made by calling 773-486-8525.
