AVONDALE — Honey Butter Fried Chicken will host a book signing and backyard cookout Tuesday in Avondale complete with brews by Revolution Brewing.

Brooklyn butcher Tom Mylan will sign "The Meat Hook Book" at Honey Butter, 3361 N. Elston Ave., at 6 p.m. Mylan will be joined by Chicago's own Rob Levitt of Butcher & Larder, described by Chicago Magazine as "one of our city's best butchers."

"The Butcher & Larder is humbled and proud to welcome Tom Mylan to Chicago to promote his excellent new book, 'The Meat Hook Meat Book,'" according to Butcher & Larder. "Tom and Rob will be grilling up some lesser known cuts of meat, our friends at Honey Butter will be providing some side dishes and the good folks at Revolution Brewing will be bringing the beer."

The $55 cost includes food, beer and a copy of "The Meat Hook Meat Book." $65 will get you food and beer for two and one copy of the book. Call The Butcher & Larder to secure your spot: 773-687-8280.
