LOGAN SQUARE — In collaboration with Chicago's Galerie F, an award-winning Austin, Tex.-based artist will debut his solo exhibition for the Logan Square gallery's second anniversary.

Grammy award-winning artist Rob Jones will present his first solo exhibition,"Grief," a collection of 100 original drawings and screenprints during the four-week installation starting July 17 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Jones is the owner and sole employee of Texas-based design outfit Animal Rummy. His previous work includes graphic design for musician Jack White and White's various musical incarnations: The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather, and the singer/guitarist's current solo outing.

The apex of that collaboration was reached with the Grammy award-winning design for the White Stripes box set, "Under Great White Northern Lights."

Join the staff at Galeri F as they embark on their third year with Logan Square in their ever-expanding store located at the intersection of Fullerton and Milwaukee avenues.

The event will be sponsored by local brewpub Revolution Brewing and New York-based brewery Brooklyn Beer. Galerie F also welcomes The American Poster Institute and encourages all attending to visit the Flatstock poster show at Pitchfork Music Festival the following weekend.

The reception is free and open to the public. Original works accompanied by limited edition silk screen prints will be available for purchase at the opening reception and all remaining works will be posted in Galerie F's online store the following Monday.
