CHICAGO — A 28-year-old man was injured early Saturday morning when a car struck his motorcycle in Bucktown.
The motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Western Avenue near Milwaukee Avenue about 1:10 a.m. when a vehicle turning into the southbound lanes hit the motorcycle, police said.
The vehicle, a dark pickup truck, fled the scene, police said.
The motorcyclist was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
Area North detectives are investigating.
