LOGAN SQUARE — Six weeks of workouts in the heart of Chicago’s neighborhoods will continue with Logan Square June 21.
Nike kicked off its Nike Training Club Summer Tour this week in the South Loop and will make a stop in the neighborhood's namesake Saturday as the class gathers at the square, the intersection of Milwaukee Ave. and Logan Blvd at 9:45 a.m.
Nike Master Trainers will lead high impact intensity training NTC workout and a short run at each stop and because Chicago is "known for summer festivals," each stop will be inspired by music chosen by locals.
Registered attendees can submit their favorite songs within the genre to help curate the beats they’ll be moving to. "Throwback R&B" will be the soundtrack theme for Logan Square.
Further stops along the series route include Lincoln Park, Pilsen, West Loop and Wicker Park.
Attendees much pre-register in advance prior to joining the Saturday 10 a.m. sessions. Class sizes vary each week so act fast. Each event is free and are first come first serve.
