LAKEVIEW — The Lakeview Pantry is looking for walkers for the 29th annual Hunger Walk this Saturday.
The 5K fundraiser — which kicks off at Soldier Field at 8:30 a.m. — benefits pantries, soup kitchens and shelters across the city.
Every time someone walks on behalf of Lakeview Pantry, the organization will earn a $12 credit with the Greater Chicago Food Depository. That's enough money to buy 120 pounds of food.
To register, visit this website and select "A00014 - Lakeview Pantry" from the drop-down menu at the bottom of the registration form.
Lakeview Pantry has locations at 3831 N. Broadway and 1414 W. Oakdale Ave.
