CHICAGO — A 26-year-old man was shot in West Englewood just after midnight.

Around 12:30 a.m. Monday, the man was shot in his left leg while in the 6600 block of South Hoyne Avenue. He was taken to Holy Cross in good condition, said Officer Ron Gaines, a police spokesman.

The injury seemed to be self-inflicted, police said.
