LAKEVIEW — On Thursday night, Southport and Irving will donate part of its sales to Goldie's Place, a West Ridge support center for people who are homeless.
From 7-10 p.m., the restaurant will feature three guest bartenders: Chicago folk legend Eddie Holstein, Larry Lusk and Keith Taylor. All of their tips, plus $1 from every drink sold and 10 percent of food sales will go to Goldie's.
The West Ridge center at 5705 N. Lincoln Ave. offers free dental care, employment training, clothes and job placement to people who are homeless.
"Party for a Cause" is at Southport & Irving, 4000 N. Southport Ave., from 7-10 p.m. Thursday. There's a $5 suggested door donation, which will be donated to Goldie's Place.
