Mark Kater, a popular entertainer at the Old Town School of Folk Music, brings his special brand of storytelling to children of all ages in a free performance at 11 a.m. Saturday,  June 14, at Liberty Bank, 2392 N. Milwaukee Ave.

His Folk Tales from Around the World show includes fascinating stories from China, India, Africa and England, plus music and plenty of audience participation.

The event is part of Liberty’s 2014 Kid’s Fun Festival, a year-long series of free concerts and community events held on the second Saturday of each month. Reservations are not required.

Liberty Bank for Savings, which offers an array of mobile banking service, has provided safe and secure banking to community residents since 1898. Three of the bank’s five locations are on the northwest side of Chicago, one in Park Ridge and one in Lincolnwood.
