CANARYVILLE — Food, beer, live music and summertime fun are part of the 2014 Family Fest at St. Gabriel Catholic Church.
The event kicks off July 25 with a DJ set by Canaryville's own "DJ Lizzie Beats" Martin, plus kids games, raffles and a cameo by Southpaw, the Chicago White Sox mascot. That's in addition to the beer garden, and food vendors that'll be set up at 45th Street and Wallace Street.
On July 26, including sets by the Bleedin' Fingers Jam Band, St. Laurence Rock Club, and the Bon Jovi tribute group, Bad Medicine. For the kids, activities include water slides, inflatable bounce houses, games and an appearance by a Chicago Fire Department fire engine.
For a complete list of activities — and information about the $10,000 grand prize raffle — see the St. Gabriel website.
