CHICAGO — Five ambulances were dispatched Sunday morning for a fire in an Uptown high-rise, but no one was injured, fire officials said.

Fire crews responded to the blaze in a building near the intersection of Sheridan Road and Argyle Street about 6:20 a.m. An EMS Plan One was called, and five ambulances were called to the scene.

The fire was out by 7 a.m., fire officials said. No one was transported to area hospitals.

The fire damaged Somerset Place, a former nursing home that is being turned into a 160-unit apartment building.
