UKRAINIAN VILLAGE — Beyonce fans on Friday can spend a whole night listening to musicians play covers of her music and support a Bucktown school at the same time.

Featured acts for "A Tribute to Beyonce" include Owls and Joan of Arc musician Tim Kinsella, footwork duo Sich Mang, Girl Group Chicago and more at Empty Bottle, 1035 N. Western Ave., 9 p.m.

Others scheduled to perform are Jeanine O'Toole & friends, of Bare Mutants; Bob Nanna, of BRAID; Jes Skolnik, of Split Feet; Matthew Hale Clark, of White/Light; Alex White, of White Mystery; James Swanberg, of Today's Hits; and The Lemons along with Circuit Des Yeux and HUJO.

They'll be doing their own takes on Beyonce or Destiny's Child songs, including transforming them into different genres or "deconstructing" them, according to organizers.

Sich Mang will headline the night with a full hour of an all-Beyonce dance mix.

Bey, who once reportedly attended a Montessori school herself, might approve.

The night is $10 to attend, and money goes support Drummond Montessori School's music program.

There's also a raffle to win tickets to Pitchfork Music Festival.

With the school facing budget gaps this year, Drummond supporters managed to raise nearly $100,000  to help prevent changing a music teacher and a library teacher from full-time to part-time, according to the Drummond Local School Council.
