CHICAGO — A 51-year-old man was killed and another man was injured in a shooting Friday evening in the Fuller Park neighborhood.

The man was shot along with another man about 6:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of South Princeton Avenue, police said.

The victim was identifited as Charles Short, of the 6700 block of South Indiana Avenue, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said.

Short was shot in his head and chest and died on the scene, said Officer Stacey Cooper, a police spokeswoman.

A 32-year-old man was also shot twice in his chest. He was taken to John H. Stroger Hospital where his condition stabilized, Cooper said. Details surrounding the shooting were not immediately available.

At least four people were wounded shootings across the city's Northwest and South sides Friday.
