CHICAGO — Five people were injured after a Thursday car accident in Belmont Cragin.
The accident occurred about 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of Austin Avenue and Altgeld Street, Chicago Police spokesman Michael Sullivan said.
One person was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital, two went to Loyola University Medical Center and two were transported to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. One person was in critical condition, Sullivan said.
