CHICAGO — A woman was shot early Monday after an argument with a man near Lincoln Park Zoo, police said.
About 1 a.m., the 25-year-old woman was standing with a group of people in the 1800 block of North Stockton Drive when a man she was arguing with grabbed a gun from a car that pulled up, said Officer Amina Greer, a police spokeswoman.
The man fired shots, grazing the woman in the stomach, before entering the vehicle and fleeing the scene, Greer said.
The shooting happened about a half mile from the Lincoln Park Zoo.
The woman refused medical attention.
