Friday

Whites of Greece Tasting at Webster's Wine Bar, 1480 W. Webster Ave., 7 p.m.

Share in a journey through the finest regions of Greece and the Aegean islands, home to some of the freshest wines made from a host of indigenous varietals with a wine tasting at Webster's. Tickets for the tasting are $40.

Cody Canada and the Departed at Joe's on Weed Street, 940 W. Weed St., 10 p.m.

At 8:45 p.m., the American rock band from Chicago, Fletcher Rockwell, will bring some of their classic heartland sound to Joe's stage then the headliners hit the stage at 10 p.m. Tickets to the show are $10.

Russ Williamson at Zanies, 1548 N. Wells St, 8:30 and 10:30 p.m.

Russ Williamson has peformed on Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham," NBC's "Chicago Fire" and the Starz series "Boss." Tickets for his stand-up show are $25 with the purchase of two food items.

Mainstream Music Live at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 9 p.m.

Taylor Bennett's World Presents: Mainstream Music Live, an all-ages show for $10 in advance, $13 at the door.

John Primer and the Real Deal Blues Band, 2519 N. Halsted St., 9:30 p.m.

John Primer joined the Chicago Blue All-Stars of Willie Dixon in 1979 then the Muddy Water's Band until the leader's death in 1983. In 2013 he was nominated for a Blues Music Award in the "Traditional Blues Male Artist" category.

DePaul Men's a Capella, founded in 2003 as a quartert of guys searching for a casual outlet to sing, has transformed into a high-octane performance that should not be missed. Tickets for the all-ages show are $12.

Spring Chamber Music Showcase at the National Shrine of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, 2520 N. Lakeview Ave., 1:30 p.m.

The best student perfomers from the Depaul University School of Music present their Spring Chamber Music Showcase: "Music in the Shrine."
