CHICAGO — A 20-year-old man was shot to death in East Garfield Park late Saturday.
The man was standing in the 3400 block of West Madison Street when someone inside a white minivan opened fire at about 11:30 p.m., police said. The victim was shot multiple times in his head and body.
Kendall Floyd, 20, who lived in the block where he was shot, was rushed to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:55 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Police said the victim had gang ties.
No one was in custody in the murder.
