CHICAGO — Two armed men robbed a bank Thursday evening on the Northwest Side.

The men entered a bank in the 2300 block of North Harlem Avenue in the city's Galewood neighborhood about 5:30 p.m. Thursday, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.

At least one of the men were armed with a handgun, police said. After pointing the gun at bank employees and customers, the two left with an unknown amount of cash and fled the scene in a gold-colored vehicle, Alfaro said.

Authorities described the men as black, approximately 170 pounds and between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10.
