CHINATOWN — Gubernatorial hopeful Bruce Rauner will visit Chinatown next week for an open-to-the-public luncheon with local business leaders.

Hosted by the Chinatown Chamber of Commerce, the event takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 22 at Lao You Ju, 2002 S. Wentworth Ave.

Rauner, a Republican running against Gov. Patrick Quinn, a Democrat, is expected to deliver remarks in a talk titled "The Future of Illinois: Small Business, Jobs, Schools, Term Limits."

Tickets are $15 for chamber members and $20 for nonmembers. They can be bought online here.

The talk is part of an ongoing series of the Chinatown business group's quarterly luncheons.

A similar session with Quinn is scheduled for the Phoenix Restaurant. A date for that event hasn't been set yet.
