CHICAGO — Two teens were wounded Thursday evening in a shooting on the Far South Side, police said.
The boys, both 16, were standing in the 13000 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue about 5:40 p.m. when they heard shots ring out, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.
The two boys then felt pain and realized they had been shot. A gunman dressed in all black was seen fleeing the scene, Alfaro said.
One teen was shot in the leg, and the other was shot in the foot. The two boys were taken to Roseland Community Hospital where they were listed in good condition.
As of Thursday evening, no one was in custody in connection with the shooting, police said.
