NOBLE SQUARE — An evening of beer, short films and local food is heading to Eckhart Park in June.

The fifth annual Clips Beer & Film Tour, hosted by New Belgium Brewing, starts traveling around the country later this month and will make its first-ever Chicago stop in Noble Square from 7:30-10:30 p.m. on June 6 at the park, 1330 W. Chicago Ave.

About 20 short, fan-made films were selected by the Colorado-based brewery from an online contest, and films start screening when it gets dark. The event is free to attend.

According to New Belgium Brewing, all of the proceeds from beer sales go to local nonprofits, including The Recyclery Collective, based in Rogers Park, and the Downtown-based Alliance for the Great Lakes.

Brews will be available in 3-ounce samples or 12-ounce pours, and selections include old standbys like Fat Tire as well as rarer options, like Coconut Curry Hefeweizen.

Bites will be served from The Slide Ride, Tamale Spaceship, and 5411 Empanadas.

The beer selection:

Yuzu Berlinerweiss, Wild Dubbel, RyePA, FOCOllaboration IPA, Summer Helles, Snapshot Wheat, Gruit, Gratzer, Coconut Curry Hefeweizen, La Folie, Ranger IPA, 1554, Trippel, Abbey, Blue Paddle, Shift, Rampant Imperial IPA and Fat Tire.
