Man Wounded in Uptown Shooting

CHICAGO — Police say a 20-year-old man was shot multiple times in a drive-by shooting in Uptown Thursday morning.

The man was standing in the 4600 block of North Racine Avenue about 7:15 a.m. when he was shot in his arm and leg. Police said the incident was a drive-by shooting.

He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital, where his condition had stabilized, police said.

No one is in custody, and Area North detectives are investigating.
