CHICAGO — A 76-year-old woman was shot Wednesday evening in Brighton Park.
The woman was shot in the shoulder while sitting in her car in the 4000 block of South Artesian Avenue around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The woman was taken to Stroger Hospital, where she was treated and released, Alfaro said.
Earlier Wednesday, a 21-year-old man was shot in Back of the Yards and a 24-year-old man was shot in Portage Park.
