WICKER PARK — Early bird tickets are on sale for the second annual Wicker Park Bucktown TAP, which will host a number of area bars and locally-produced beer for an afternoon tastings on June 22.

Many of the same breweries are back for the fest, which takes place this year from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, June 22 at the Chop Shop, 2033 W. North Ave.

Available through May 31, early bird passes get beer aficionados 10 6-ounce glasses of beer, a commemorative tasting glass and grub provided by local restaurants.

And if that doesn't quench your thirst, more are available to buy during the event. In all, 17 brews will be available.

Starting June 1, tickets will be $40.

The tasting showcases both neighborhood-made beer as well as brewpubs that carry unique, hard-to-find varieties.

Newcomers to TAP include Pizza 1647, Division Ale House, Provenance Food and Wine, High Noon Saloon and Links Taproom.

Proceeds are set to benefit the Wicker Park Bucktown Chamber of Commerce, which produces TAP in conjunction with Map Room.
