BRIDGEPORT — Looking for weekend dinner plans?

Nana Organic is shelving its Sunday night family-style fried chicken dinner for a special Cinco de Mayo menu.

The four-course dinner, complete with drink pairings, will start at 7 p.m. Sunday at the restaurant, 3267 S. Halsted St. Reservations are required and the dinner is $45 per person.

The dinner begins with a squash blossom salad made with zucchini, patty pan squash, tomatoes, basil, passion fruit vinegar and queso fresco. That's followed by a serving of seafood pozole (crab and grilled prawns) and a main course of braised goat served with crispy blue corn dumplings, pea tendrils, knob onions, peppers and salsa verde.

For dessert is an almond cake served with spiced chocolate ice cream, burnt meringue and a chocolate ganache.

Each course will be paired with a seasonal cocktail.

Vegetarian options will be available, but the restaurant requests advance notice.
