CHICAGO — A 14-year-old boy was shot in West Pullman Wednesday night.
The teen was standing in the 12000 block of South Perry Avenue when three males walked up about 6:35 p.m., said Officer Amina Greer, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
One of the males began shooting, striking the teen in the leg and arm. The males ran away and the 14-year-old was taken to Comer Children's Hospital, where his condition had stabilized.
A 15-year-old boy was later arrested and charged with aggravated battery and attempted murder for the shooting, police said.
