COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — A 15-year-old boy may have bitten off more than he could chew when he ate a pot brownie and ended up passed out at school.

The teen was taken to Resurrection Medical Center Tuesday when he was found unconscious at Taft High School in Norwood Park, according to a police report of the incident.

Another student at the school, Taylor Desanto, 18, is accused of providing the marijuana-laced cake, prosecutors said.

When authorities confronted Desanto, they found a plastic bag with brownies suspected to contain pot, prosecutors said.

Desanto was charged with marijuana possession and child endangerment.

A Cook County judge released Desanto from jail Thursday and ordered that he be put on electronic monitoring.
