CHICAGO — Police are looking for a man who allegedly attempted to lure two children to his vehicle Wednesday.
Police said the two children, a 13-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy, were walking to school in the 1700 block of North Larrabee Street between 9 and 10 a.m. Wednesday when a man in a dark gray sedan pulled up next to them.
According to police, he said, "come over here," but the children continued walking.
The driver allegedly followed them up the street, and again pulled over, asking, "Do you need a ride?"
The children ignored him and continued to school. The car then made a U-turn and drove off, police said.
Police describe the man as a white male with balding black or grey hair, between the ages of 40 and 50.
Anyone with information should call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8380, referencing case number HX192050.
