CHICAGO — Usher in spring with an eco-friendly workshop at the nature museum, spend the night out in Old Town with food and comedy, or listen to a couple music acts at Lincoln Hall on Thursday.

Green Your Spring! at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Dr., 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Just in time for spring (and hopefully some warm weather), the nature museum is giving a few lessons on environment-friendly cleaning along with composting and energy conservation. Participants can also plant a green bean seed to take home. The class is included in the cost of museum admission.

A Night Out in Old Town Featuring Patti Vasquez starting at Dino Ristorante, 215 W. North Ave., 7:30 p.m.

The Old Town Merchants & Residents Association hosts this Thursday night outing, which includes food and a show. The shindig starts at Dino Ristorante at 7:30 p.m. for some drinks and appetizers before moving to Zanies, 1548 N. Wells St., for an 8:30 p.m. show from comedian Patti Vasquez. Tickets for the evening are $25 and include the show, select drinks and food. Email otmra@oldtownchicago.org or call 312-951-6106.

Wild Child and Robert Ellis at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 8 p.m.
