
CHICAGO — A 47-year-old man died Wednesday afternoon after he was stabbed in Humboldt Park.
Gregory Shanks was arguing with another man about 3 p.m. when the man stabbed Shanks in the chest, said Officer Amina Greer, a police spokeswoman. Officers found Shanks in the vestibule of a building in the 700 block of North Trumbull Avenue.
Shanks, 47, of the 600 block of North Homan Avenue, was rushed to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3:45 p.m.
A 61-year-old man is in custody. Charges are pending.
