CHICAGO — A 20-year-old man was charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery after a February shooting on the city's West Side.
Jamel Crowder, of the 500 block of South Campbell Avenue, was arrested and charged Saturday with the shooting.
Around 11:06 p.m. on February 20, Crowder shot a 41-year-old man in the 2900 block of West Harrison Street in East Garfield Park. Crowder was identified and apprehended after an investigative alert was issued, police said.
Crowder was charged with one count of attempted first degree murder and one count of aggravated battery. He's expected to appear in bond court Monday.
