CHICAGO — A 29-year-old man died after his SUV rolled over on Interstate 57 early Saturday morning, authorities said.

The 2000 Ford Explorer was traveling northbound about 1:25 p.m. when the crash occurred near the Wentworth Avenue exit, according to state police.

The driver was identified as Jason West of the 12000 block of South Emerald Avenue.

Other drivers stopped to help West, who was the SUV's lone occupant.

West was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center at 2:20 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Officer.

Alcohol does not seem to be a factor, police said.
