CHICAGO — A man fatally shot himself in a Loop parking garage Thursday night, police said.
Officers found the 57-year-old man shot in his head in a garage in the first block of East Randolph Street about 10:30 p.m. Thursday. The wound appeared to be self-inflicted, said Officer Amina Greer, a Chicago Police Department spokeswoman.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:43 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. His name was being withheld pending notification of his family.
