Things to Do in Lincoln Park and Old Town on Thursday

CHICAGO — This Thursday night, learn more about the birds and the bees from Lincoln Park Zoo or see some music shows at local venues.

Wine & Wildlife: The Science Behind Zoo Sex at Lincoln Park Zoo, 2001 N. Clark St., 6-8 p.m.

During this adult program, zoo experts explain the careful planning behind the mating of the resident animals. A cash bar and light hors d’oeuvres will be available. The event, which is $14 for zoo members and $17 for non-members, is for those 18 and older.

DYNOHUNTER with Raw Card and Digeometric at Tonic Room, 2447 N. Halsted St., 8 p.m.

The electronic bands play Tonic Room Thursday night, and tickets run from $7-$10. The event is restricted to ages 21 and older.

Nootka Sound at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 8 p.m.

See Chicago indie jazz/pop band Nootka Sound along with Brandon Cunningham, Cold Country and Cougar Island. Tickets are $10 for the show, which is just for those 18 and older.
