CHICAGO — A few options for your Tuesday night out include two comedy shows and a book release party.

"Take a Chance" Release Party featuring Q&A with author Abbi Glines at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 7 p.m.

New Adult author Abbi Glines will be at Lincoln Hall to sign books and answer questions about "Take a Chance," a spinoff of her "Too Far" series. The event, which is presented by the Book Cellar, costs $5 and includes a free T-shirt. Queer Comedy at Zanies, 1548 N. Wells St., 8:30 p.m.

This edition of Zanies' Queer Comedy is designed to be cabaret-style with stand-up comedy, variety acts and audience games.
