Things to Do in Lincoln Park and Old Town This Weekend

CHICAGO — Check out a number of concerts, a family fair or a history-focused bar crawl this weekend.

Friday

Nick Waterhouse with Las Rosas and DJ Thundercutz at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 10 p.m.

For $15, hear singer-songwriter Nick Waterhouse play the venue along with Las Rosas and DJ Thundercutz. Tickets are just for those 21 and older.

Saturday

Family Fun Fair at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness, 1320 W. Fullerton Ave., 2-4 p.m.

The fair, which is free for members and $10 for non-members, is set to include carnival games and an obstacle course. Those who register for a summer camp at the event will get 5 percent discount on the camp.

Alejandro Escovedo and Peter Buck at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., 8 p.m.

Singer-songwriter Alejandro Escovedo performs along with Peter Buck, formerly of R.E.M. Tickets are $27.50 and restricted to those 21 and older.

Hard Working Americans with Turbo Fruits at Park West, 322 W. Armitage Ave., 8 p.m.

Rock band Hard Working Americans (made up of Todd Snider, Dave Schools, Neal Casal, Chad Staehly and Duane Trucks) performs along with Turbo Fruits at Park West on Saturday. Tickets are $25.

Sunday

Sunday Bloody Sunday, Chicago History Museum, 1-4 p.m.

The museum hosts a Bloody Mary-themed bar crawl that includes the history behind each tavern. The bar hop is $30 for museum members and $40 for non-members.
