CHICAGO — How's this for warm thoughts?

Chicago White Sox fans will get first crack at home game tickets on the same day Spring Training play kicks off in Arizona.

Ticket sales officially begin 10 a.m. Feb. 28, when fans can visit the team's website or call 866-769-4263 to place orders for individual games. The team's ticket office at U.S. Cellular Field won't open until March 1.

After that, tickets can be bought at the stadium's ticket office, which is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. Chicago-area Ticketmaster locations are also selling tickets.

But super Sox fans can get their tickets earlier than everyone else.

Season ticket holders will have the chance to buy individual game tickets through an online presale on Feb. 26. Members of the online Sox Pride and Black List fan clubs will get access to an online-only presale on Feb. 27. Details on those sales are available at whitesox.com/presale.

Not a member of those groups? You can join anytime, but to qualify for the special 2014 season pre-sales, fans must sign up for the groups by Feb. 23 and Feb. 25, respectively.
