CHICAGO — A 72-year-old man was charged Sunday in the stabbing death of a another man.
Roosevelt Shaffer, of the 900 block of West 63rd Street, was charged with killing Raymond Robinson Thursday during an argument, police said. Police said Robinson was 73, though the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said he was 69.
Robinson, of the 1600 block of North Lotus, was found stabbed in his chest in the 900 block of West 63rd Street at 10:10 a.m., said Officer Jose Estrada, a police spokesman.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 10:56 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
Shaffer is scheduled to appear in court Sunday.
