UPTOWN — The owners of Aodake Sushi and Steak House are debuting a new concept when they open Aodake Asian Bistro in Uptown later this year.

The restaurant is trading in the formal dining experience it's known for at its Darien and Romeoville locations for a "faster more casual" feel when they set up shop in the former Blue Ocean at 4650 N. Clark St., which closed suddenly in the summer of 2012.

The restaurant will have a casual concept and will feature some of the most popular sushi rolls from Aodake's Darien and Romeoville Sushi and Steak Houses, and also will offer beer, wine by the glass and free Wi-Fi, owners said.

Diners will order at the counter and then find a table, where servers will deliver the meal.
