CHICAGO —  Celebrate Valentine's Day early, check out a free show or compete in a bar's version of the Olympics Thursday night in Lincoln Park.

Valentine Day Dance at Lincoln Park Cultural Center, 2045 N. Lincoln Park West, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

On the eve of Valentine's Day, the Chicago Park District is hosting a free dance with music and treats.

Eric Church Radio and Fan Club Release, Joe's Bar, 9:30 p.m. (free show)

To celebrate the release of his new album, "The Outsiders," Eric Church plans to hit up six cities for six free shows — all within two days. Tickets are on a first-come, first-served basis at the door, and the venue warns that not everyone is guaranteed entry.

Olympwick's 2014 at Sedgwick's Bar and Grill, 1935 N. Sedgwick St., evening

In its third annual winter "Olympwick" celebration, the bar hosts themed events and games on Thursdays and Sundays during the 2014 Olympics. Bargoers can form teams and compete to eventually win a gold trophy. The games are free to play.
