WICKER PARK —   It's another big weekend in the Wicker Park area.

Here are the highlights.

Friday

6 to 10 p.m. "Paint for a Purpose." Artist Brian Morgan will create a "paint-by-numbers" drawing with audience participation. Proceeds from the sale of the piece will be given to a nonprofit group that works with young cancer patients.  Jackson Junge Gallery, 1389 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Wicker Park.

6 to 10 pm.  WPB's Orange Dot First Friday.  Several local shops and artist will offer special events as part of a "First Friday" incentive to get people out of the cold and into local restaurants,  galleries and small businesses. Enjoy a free sake tasting at Enso Sushi; a live DJ spinning at Zen Yoga Garage; and free eye makeup application and hair styling at Spa Soak. All over the neighborhood.

6:30 p.m.  Emporium Arcade Bar's 2014 Olympic Games.  Kick off two weeks of competition with an opening ceremony that will mirror the "other Olympics" taking place in Sochi, Russia.  A one-time $10 entry fee allows players to participate in as many events as they want. The entry fee will go toward a prize pool. 1366 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Wicker Park.

6:30 p.m.  "Cold Summer" at Free Street Theater.  A performance about Chicago violence by the young people living in it includes a controversial skit, "Rahmye," which mashes up Mayor Rahm Emanuel with Kanye West. Tickets are $5-$20, or pay what you can.  Pulaski Park Field House, 1419 W. Blackhawk St. in Noble Square.

7 p.m.  "Valentine's Party at Dovetail."  Find a gift for your valentine, or for yourself, at this party which also includes spiked punch and "loved-themed" psychic readings by Ryan Fukada.  Dovetail, 1452 W. Chicago Ave. in West Town.

9 p.m.  "Hey, Logan You're Out of Your Element." Be among the first to drink a white Russian milk stout inspired by the classic cult film "The Big Lebowksi," which will play on the big screen at 10:30 p.m. following a pre-movie release of Pipeworks Brewery's new beer, "Hey Careful Man, There's A Beverage Here."  Attendees are encouraged to dress up; tickets can be bought here. Logan Theater, 2646 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Logan Square. 

Saturday

10 a.m. Free Vinyasa Yoga at Ready Coffee. Relax and revive with free yoga, led by instructor Sylvia Gonzalez, who has "a burning desire to spread the message of yoga," according to the coffee shop's blog. ORNOT Gallery (in the back of Ready Coffee), 1562 N. Milwaukee Ave.

11 a.m. to 7 p.mLe Dress 'Pipes Burst' Pop-up Sale.  A Division Street dress shop is closed for renovation after a pipe burst in the condo above the store.  But you can find Le Dress inside a pop-up shop at a neighboring boutique. Get 30 percent off any purchase with code "Pipesburst30." Trillium, 1744 W. Division St. in Wicker Park.

11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. "Good Buys and Goodbyes Sale."   Enjoy 70 percent off winter items and 30 percent off spring clothing before a Damen Avenue boutique closes. Clothes Minded, 1735 N. Damen Ave. in Wicker Park.

Noon to 4 p.m. Handmade Market at the Empty Bottle.  Crafters and shoppers unite at this indoor bazaar featuring affordable and mostly locally made items, including jewelry, cards, clothing, handbags and more. Free admission, ages 21 and older.  Empty Bottle, 1035 N. Western Ave. in Ukrainian Village.

2:30 p.m. "Cold Summer" at Free Street Theater, 1419 W. Blackhawk St. in Noble Square.

3 to 4 p.m. Ukrainian Village Neighborhood Watch Meetup.   Take a break from the Internet and meet your neighbors in the flesh at a popular Facebook page's first "Meet and Greet."  The Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art, 2320 W. Chicago Ave. in Ukrainian Village.

7 p.m. to 12 a.m.  Bitter Betty Bazaar's After Dark Pop-up. Touting "capitalism, collectivism and cocktail-ism," the indoor market will include drink specials on craft cocktails, spa services, plenty of handmade gifts for Valentine's Day, intuitive readings by psych Ali Hunger and free tarot card readings.  Innertown Pub, 1935 W. Thomas St. in West Town.

10:30 p.m.  Hey Logan, You are Out of Your Element" at The Logan Theater, 2646 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Logan Square.

Sunday

10 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Indoor Farmers Market in Logan Square. Find fresh produce from several vendors every Sunday through March 30. 2755 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Logan Square.

Noon to 5 p.m.   Le Dress 'Pipes Burst Pop-up' Sale, at Trillium, 1744 W. Division St. in Wicker Park.
