CHICAGO — Check out a nature-themed decoration workshop, get some career advice or attend a trivia night on Tuesday in Lincoln Park.

Insect Pinning Workshop at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive, 6-8 p.m.

If you always wanted to learn how to make insect decor, here's your chance. The museum teaches participants how to properly pin and display a dried insect. The event is $30 for non-members and $20 for museum members.

2014: The Year to Launch You at Next Door Cafe, 659 W. Diversey Parkway, 6:30-8 p.m.

Career strategists from Flank 5 Academy give some advice for tackling job goals in 2014. The class is free, and those interested can RSVP online.

Trivia at State Restaurant, 935 W. Webster Ave., 8 p.m.

Specials for trivia night include $4 Fireball shots, $5 Jack Daniel's drinks and $13 and $18 rotating pitchers. First-place winners get $800 in cash, second-place winners get $200 and third place gets $100. There's also slated to be $1,000 worth of raffle prizes. Players are encouraged to get there about 7 p.m.
