CHICAGO — An Evanston man charged with sexually abusing a 19-year-old woman at the North/Clybourn Red Line station Sunday may be responsible for other similar incidents, police said.

Barry Marquez, 28, was arrested Sunday night for an incident on a station platform at 5:15 p.m. Sunday, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police Department spokeswoman.

Marquez "may be responsible for similar incidents," according to a police statement.

It is uncertain if Marquez is connected with the robbery and sexual assault of a 24-year-old man that started at the same Red Line station at 1 a.m. on Jan. 28, Sedevic said.

Marquez was charged with a felony count of criminal sexual abuse by force in Sunday's incident.
