CHICAGO — A man was charged with attempted murder after he stabbed another man during an argument Monday in Belmont Cragin, police said.
Cops said Jose Garcia, 40, stabbed a 37-year-old man during an argument in the 5300 block of West Wellington Avenue about 3:10 a.m. Monday.
The victim suffered a stab wound to his abdomen and was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in serious condition, police said.
Garcia, of the of the 2300 block West Devon Avenue, was charged with attempted first-degree murder and is expected to appear in bond court on Tuesday.
