COOK COUNTY CRIMINAL COURTHOUSE — A 19-year-old man pointed a fake gun at a CTA bus driver in Auburn Gresham Saturday, according to a police arrest report.

Tony D. Black, 19, appeared in bond court Sunday after he was charged with misdemeanor aggravated assault to a transit employee.

According to an arrest report, the bus driver told cops that Black pointed a handgun at him and said, "Today is your lucky day."

The incident happened in the 8500 block of South Ashland Avenue, according to court documents.

The driver flagged cops down a few blocks away from the scene and told them that a man with a black hooded sweatshirt had threatened him with a gun, according to the arrest report. The driver told police the man was last seen walking northbound on Ashland, according to the arrest report.

When cops caught up to Black, he said, "It's just a BB gun." An officer found the replica gun in the front pocket of Back's sweatshirt, according to the report.

Officers arrested Black and showed him to the victim, who identified Black as the one who threatened him, according to the report.

It was unclear why Black allegedly pointed the BB gun at the driver.

Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil ordered Black held on a $3,000 bail.
