CHICAGO — A 19-year-old Grand Boulevard man has been charged in the shooting death of another man in Chicago Lawn, police said.

Devon Clark, of the 600 block of East 50th Place, was charged in first-degree murder in the death of Joseph Brittman.

Brittman was shot and killed after a fistfight erupted in the 6400 block of South Campbell Avenue on the afternoon Jan. 8, his father said.

Police said Clark was involved in an argument with another group, when he pulled out a handgun and started shooting. Brittman was shot twice in the back and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he died.

Clark is due in court Sunday.
