CHICAGO — Events in Lincoln Park and Old Town include a storytelling event, a fun run and a chance to work on art skills.

Fresh and Clean: Stories of Brand New at Webster's Wine Bar, 1480 W. Webster Ave., 7:30 p.m.

The 2nd Story's January storytelling event features tales dedicated to conveying the "brand new." The storytellers include Vince Pagan, Maureen Riley, Andrew Reilly and Alice Kim. Tickets cost $20 online or at the door. Once you get there, you can buy a wine flight. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Monday Night Acupuncture Fun Run at Fleet Feet Chicago, 1620 N. Wells St., 6:30 p.m.

Both before and after a fun run sponsored by Fleet Feet, Lake Shore Acupuncture's Dana Hoffman, a Board Certified Acupuncturist, will be at the store to teach instant and effective pressure point techniques for various issues from headaches to tendonitis to just plain stress.

Chicago Botanical Artists Group at Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive, 1-3 p.m.

For artists, both beginners and advanced, this monthly event is an opportunity to work with sketch artists to hone their skills drawing some of the Nature Museum's specimens. The cost is free, but you should RSVP either by calling 773-755-5128 or emailing adultprograms@naturemuseum.org.
